Using the Beautiple is a cinch. First, wet your makeup brushes with warm water. Make sure that the bristles face downward, to avoid water getting into the brush handle. Add some cleanser to the bristles and start exploring the Beautiple:

X's-Unlike most "X's", these are ones that you should always come back to. Start cleaning your facial brushes here by swirling them over the textured surface.
Bars-These bars are always open for business. Rinse off loose makeup residue here.
Grain-Go against the grain! Or with it, the choice is yours, but use this area for deeper, refined cleaning.
